Stanley

Meet Stanley
This is Stanley.
Last September we got a message about a stray cat in Shipley, a white unneutered male in good condition. We put him on our extensive waiting list and hoped to bring him in fairly quickly, That just didn't happen!
Due to the number of calls we get about stray and abandoned cats poor Stanley kept slipping down the waiting list while we brought in more urgent cases like pregnant females etc.
He spent all winter out living under cars etc, we knew that kindly locals were feeding him but his condition deteriorated and we decided to get him in after a report that he had an eye injury from fighting (a trait usually easily remedied by neutering)
A twist meant that as soon as we agreed to take him he disappeared off the radar and was not seen for a week, the first sighting of him was on Facebook, the RSPCA had brought him in and were appealing for information, we rang them and agreed to take him on.
He has now been neutered and microchipped and is just waiting to be vaccinated, we think he is two years old and has spent most of that time fending for himself, he is nervous and covered in car oil but I think given time he will be a really lovey lovely boy and will make someone a great companion, he just needs someone to look after him now.
He is not quite ready for rehoming yet but if anyone might be interested in him they can get in touch via Keighley cat care website.http://www.keighleycatcare.co.uk/

Omar's "New Home"

OMAR

Omar has decided that he is perfectly happy with his foster mum and has asked if she can take his details off the homing list.  Not having had the best of starts to his young life, he has got used to his “special” treatment i.e. being spoilt rotten.  The other resident cats had a meeting and voted unanimously that he could stay. How could I resist!  Welcome to the "Home Team".

Meet Oxo!

Oxo came into us in 2012 when her owner died, strangely she has been with us a long time as she is the most adorable cat, I think her age and colour make for her being overlooked every time. She is about 8 or 9 years old but could pass for a much younger cat, she is quite afraid of other cats and keeps well out of the way, never showing any aggression her defense tends to be avoidance. Okay around dogs and loves people, give her a warm comfy knee and she is happy. Likes to play out and is a good non fussy eater as you can probably tell from her photo.

There must be someone out there who wants to adopt this beautiful girl, they would not be disappointed. If you are interested in adopting Oxo please call Chris on 01274 568380
